Summary
The Payment Times Reporting Act 2020 has been in operation for over 4 years. Under the scheme, as at 31 July 2024, there were:
- more than 11,000 reporting entities
- over 61,000 published payment times reports on the register.
The Australian Parliament passed the Payment Times Reporting Amendment Act 2024 (Amendment Act) on 3 July 2024. It received Royal Assent on 9 July 2024.
The Payment Times Reporting Rules 2024 commenced on 13 September 2024.
About the liaison forum
The liaison forum is held after every major report release of the Payment Times Reports Register.
There were 226 attendees representing 129 different stakeholders.
The Regulator thanks those that participated in the survey at the end of the forum. The feedback will be incorporated into future forums and information sessions.
