Summary
The Payment Times Reporting Act 2020 has been in operation for over 4 years.
The August 2025 Stakeholder liaison forum (the forum) enabled regulated entities, their representatives, and other stakeholders to engage directly with the Regulator and ask questions of the Payment Times Reporting Scheme leadership team.
Following stakeholder feedback, the forum adopted a refreshed thematic approach, focusing on topics from the July update and upcoming milestones, including:
- overview of the Fast Small Business Payer list
- reports and applications troubleshooting
- 2025–26 Compliance and Enforcement Priorities
- a dedicated ‘Question & Answer’ segment
About the liaison forum
The liaison forum is held twice a year, following the release of the Regulator's update publication.
In August 2025, the forum attracted over 670 attendees representing over 500 different organisations.
The Regulator would like to thank those that participated in the post forum survey. The feedback received will be reviewed and incorporated into future forums and information sessions.
