The Payment Times Reporting Regulator released their July 2025 update today, including:
- payment times insights from Reporting Cycle 8 (1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024)
- updates on the Regulator’s priorities for 2025
- information about new reporting measures
- guidance on common reporting errors.
This update uses new reporting measures to evaluate large business payment practices within, and across industries, with greater depth and precision. The Regulator is now focused on analysing the self‑reported data to identify non‑compliance and take appropriate action.
Caution should be exercised when interpreting the data or insights in this update as the new reporting measures may not be directly comparable to previous reporting cycles.
